Not all medical services are covered under the Alberta Health Care Insurance Plan (AHCIP). Rx Square Medical Clinic offers a range of uninsured services for patients who require physician care outside the scope of provincial coverage. These include certain types of visits, third-party forms, and follow-up appointments related to uninsured conditions. We are committed to transparent pricing and will inform you of any applicable fees before your appointment.
What to expect
Uninsured visits are conducted in the same professional manner as all appointments at Rx Square. Your physician will assess your needs, complete any required documentation, and provide whatever clinical care is appropriate. Fees for uninsured services are payable at the time of the visit. You will be informed of the applicable fee when you book your appointment. Payment is accepted by cash or card.
Who this is for
Uninsured services are available to all patients, including those who do not hold a valid AHCIP card. Common examples include immigration or employment medical exams, insurance forms, certain workplace assessments, and follow-up visits for non-insured conditions.
